We used this mirror for another concept initially, but Jessica had the idea to do some reflection shots. When I was editing, I noticed that the fall-colored leaves still holding on to the tops of the trees in the reflection contrasted with the darker forest floor and mostly-brown and decaying leaves, so I built on that concept to highlight two different views … or two different realities … existing at once.
